A new group has formed to launch a public lands access and wildlife conservation campaign. The new group is known as the Wyoming Hunters and Anglers Alliance (WYHAA).

The group is led by Volunteer Chair Matt Shafer, and came together out of concern that Wyoming politicians were putting special needs ahead of Wyoming hunters and anglers. The group's main focuses are protecting access to public land, as well as maintaining wildlife populations.

Though the group was started by hunters and anglers, Shafer says that anyone interested in joining can do so by signing the "Wyoming Hunters and Anglers Pledge" on the WYHAA website.
