Kaitlyn Mileto scored a season-high 27 points and Jordan Kelley added a double-double in the Wyoming Cowgirls 74-66 victory over San Diego State Wednesday night.

Mileto knocked down seven 3-pointers, which tied a career-high. Kelley scored 14 points and grabbed a career best 15 rebounds. Then there was Marquelle Dent. All she did was score 21 points, snag six steals and dish out five assists.

Wyoming (11-11, 6-6) used a 17-4 in the second half to seize control of a close game and get back to .500 on the season and in league play. It also marked their fourth win in the last five games.

San Diego State (9-14, 6-6) cut the lead to 68-63 with under two minutes left. The Cowgirls hit six free throws to hold on.

The Aztecs were led by McKynzie Fort with 17 points.

UW had the edge on the glass, 36-34, and scored 17 points off San Diego State turnovers.

The Cowgirls return to action Saturday at San Jose State. Tip-off is at 3 p.m., Mountain Time.
