The Wyoming Game and Fish Department will hold a public meeting in Laramie to discuss management of the Sheep Mountain Mule Deer Herd. This herd includes hunt areas; 61,74,75,76 and 77.

The meeting is designed to work collaboratively with interested parties and gather public input that will be used to develop management recommendations for the Sheep Mountain/Laramie mule deer herd.

The meeting will focus on mule deer nutrition and habitat improvement, and will address issues within the herd that were raised at the August meeting. The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16, at the University of Wyoming Berry Center 231, located at 1000 E. University Ave.

The Wyoming Game and Fish says that observations and opinions are important and valuable to the Department and Laramie area deer managers.
