Man Sought in Armed Robbery

Authorities are looking for a man who robbed a credit union inside the south Cheyenne Safeway this morning.

Laramie County Sheriff's Department Captain Linda Gesell says a single male approached a teller at the Warren Federal Credit Union located inside the grocery store around 11:30 a.m. He displayed a small, semi-automatic handgun and got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a six foot, 180 pound, white or light-skinned black male in his mid 20s. He had long, black hair and a full beard and was wearing a white surgical mask, red plaid jacket and green knit hat.

He possibly got into an older model, red Ford Taurus with two other people inside.
