Laramie Police arrested and charged a woman Saturday with felony driving under the influence, among other charges.

According to a statement by police, a sergeant monitoring traffic stopped a vehicle for speeding through the 600 block of North 30th St. on Dec. 29 around 1 a.m. As a result of the traffic stop, Rosemary Anne Foster, 39, of Laramie was arrested and charged with driving while under the influence, 4th or subsequent offense, as well as driving with a suspended license and speeding.

Driving under the influence, 4th or subsequent offense within 10 years, is punishable by a fine of no more than $10,000, imprisonment for no more than 7 years, or both.

Driving with a suspended license is punishable by a fine of no more than $750, imprisonment for no more than 6 months, or both.

Foster was released from the Albany County Detention Center after posting a $7,500 signature bond.
