It was the buzz around town yesterday and thankfully no one came away injured. According to The Laramie Police Department's release an armed robbery occurred at the Laramie Wal-Mart Super Center at approximately 10:06 am Wednesday.

According to the report a single suspect was involved in the robbery. He went through a cashier's line with a cart containing camp fuel as well as bedding items. Once addressed by the cashier the man showed a handgun and demanded cash from the register. Nobody was hurt in the incident and the man was last seen wearing black pants, a black coat and a Yankees baseball hat.

Wal-Mart security camera's caught the man leaving the Wal-Mart parking lot headed East in a black SUV covered in red mud. The suspect has been described as a white male in his late twenties to early thirties with dark short hair.

Aggravated Robbery is a felony punishable by imprisonment for not less than five years and no more than twenty-five years if in the course of the crime of robbery the person: uses or exhibits a deadly weapon or a simulated deadly weapon.
