LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) — A Laramie taxi driver faces up to 10 years in prison and a $5,000 fine after pleading guilty to felony DUI.

The Laramie Boomerang reports that 63-year-old James Leroy Rollman pleaded guilty Monday to a DUI charge, and a reckless driving misdemeanor.

Prosecutors allege Rollman was driving drunk at 2 a.m. on March 6 when his van struck a pole. His passenger suffered a neck fracture. Police found Rollman's blood alcohol level on the day of the accident was .09 percent. The legal limit for commercial drivers in Wyoming is .04 percent.

Rollman said in court that the crash was caused by a deer, but admits to being drunk and taking Nyquil before the incident.
