Laramie Soccer Games Get Moved to Thursday

Both Laramie High School conference soccer matches scheduled for today against Cheyenne South have been postponed due to the weather.

Laramie High School AD Bruce Schmidt made the announcement via email at 10 a.m.

The matches have been rescheduled for Thursday, April 6. There's been an update to the times, as both varsity matches will be played at 4 p.m. followed by the JV at 6 p.m. The Lady Plainsmen are at home, while the Plainsmen travel to Cheyenne.

These are the only matches on the schedule for LHS this week.

Both teams are coming off a split to open 4A East Conference matches last weekend.

The Lady Plainsmen won at Sheridan 7-0 last Friday before losing at top-ranked Gillette, 2-1, last Saturday. They are 3-1 on the season.

The Plainsmen also beat Sheridan last Friday 3-2 at Deti Stadium, but lost to No. 1 Gillette, 4-0, last Saturday. They have a 4-1 record this year.
