The 2015 high school football season begins Friday night for the Laramie Plainsmen, as they host the second-ranked Sheridan Broncs.

The game at Deti Stadium will kick-off at 6 p.m.

Laramie is led by third-year head coach Chuck Syverson. The Plainsmen return five starters on offense and four on defense to this year's squad. A total of 20 lettermen are back.

Coming off a 3-7 season, in which they lost in the first round of the playoffs, the Plainsmen are trying to move up the ranks of 4A Wyoming high school football.

Syverson feels good about the direction of his program, and really feels their passing game and defense will be much improved.

Coach Syverson visited with the "voice of the Plainsmen," David Settle, about the 2015 season, tonight's opponent, the Sheridan Broncs and what Laramie fans can expect from his squad.

KOWB will provide live coverage of tonight's game. Join David Settle and Dan Bleak, as they call the action. It starts at 4:30 p.m.
