A Laramie resident was arrested for allegedly strangling a household member.

Officers with the Laramie Police Department responded to the 2100 block of Wyoming Ave. at about 9:00 p.m. on the evening of Sunday, Nov. 15.  The report received by police indicated that a domestic dispute might have been taking place.

Although Laramie Police could not release much information about the incident, they have announced that the investigation resulted in 31-year-old Garrick Tahy of Laramie being arrested.

Tahy was booked into the Albany County Detention Center on a charge of felony Strangulation of a Household Member.  If convicted, Tahy could face up to five years in prison.
