Laramie Police arrested a man Wednesday on multiple felony charges including aggravated assault.

Gerald W. Burkett, 30, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, strangulation of a household member, and interference with a 911 call.

Laramie police responded to the possible domestic disturbance call around 11:25 pm in the 1000 block of North McCue Street.

Burkett remains in custody and bail as not been set as of Friday afternoon.

The aggravated assault and strangulation charges are both felonies and interference with a 911 call is a misdemeanor. Burkett could face up to 20 years and 6 months behind bars.
