The 74th Laramie Jubilee Days parade is set for 10 a.m. on July 12 and will follow along the same route it has for the past several years.

The theme of this year’s parade is “Wild, Wild Wyoming – A Historical Journey.”

The deadline for preferred placement in the parade has passed, but they welcome late registration until 9 a.m. the day of the parade. Labonte Park will serve as the staging area. That will begin at 8:30 a.m. on July 12.

As for the route of the 2014 Laramie Jubilee Days parade, it will again start at 4th Street and Canby Street. The parade will head one block west and take a left turn on to 3rd Street and proceed south. It follows 3rd Street up until it reaches Garfield Street, where the parade will turn left and head one block east. Then, it’s another left turn onto 4th Street to travel north for a city block. From there, the parade will turn right onto Grand Avenue and proceed east until 9th Street. It’s one last left turn onto 9th Street to head north back to Labonte Park.

KOWB (AM 1290) will be providing live coverage of the 2014 Laramie Jubilee Days parade. We will be broadcasting from our usual spot in front of Bloedorn Lumber on North 3rd Street. Coverage will start on July 12 at 10:03 a.m. You will also be able to listen live online.
