According to a new Wallet Hub study, Laramie, Wyoming, has one of the highest average rates of credit card debt in the entire country.

Gillette has the lowest rate of credit card debt on Wyoming, ranking in the 11th percentile nationally.

Rock Springs ranked in the 21st percentile. Cheyenne finished in the 35th percentile and Casper was in the 39th percentile.

Two Wyoming towns were listed above the nationally average. The median credit card debt in Sheridan is $6,263; ranking in the 61st percentile.

Then there's Laramie. With an average credit card debt of $6,499, many of which are highest interest accounts, Laramie ranks the in 99th percentile nationwide.
