One week of fall camp has been completed for the Laramie Plainsmen, as they prepare for the 2017 season.

Laramie has gone through nine total practices over a six-day span. They went two-a-day practices in the morning and late afternoon last Monday, Wednesday and Friday. That was followed with single practices in the mornings of Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

New Plainsmen head coach Clint Reed joined our David Settle for a brief recap of the first week. Coach Reed looked back on the practice time, their focus and what's ahead for week two.

The players and a few coaches weren't even done after this on Saturday. They combined with members from the Laramie Lady Plainsmen volleyball team and the Laramie High School cheer squad for a fundraising car wash. They raised $543 and donated all the proceeds to Interfaith Good Samaritan in Laramie.

Laramie will open their 2017 season at home against Kelly Walsh on Friday, Aug. 25 at 7 p.m.
