Laramie Adjusts Trash Collection Schedule for New Year’s Day

The City of Laramie Solid Waste Division announced Friday that the trash and recycling collections schedule will be adjusted for New Year's Day 2019.

Just like over the Christmas holiday, those in Laramie that would normally have their solid waste collected on a Tuesday will have it collected the following day instead.

That means collections scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 1 will now be on Wednesday, Jan. 2. The Laramie landfill is scheduled to be closed on Jan. 1 as well.

Residents can check the collection schedule for their address online at the City of Laramie Solid Waste Division webpage.

The webpage also features suggestions on what to do with holiday waste from presents and packaging, like what items can be recycled and whether or not to bag certain items.
