For the second time this season, middle blocker Erin Kirby has been named Mountain West Volleyball Player of the Week for matches played from Nov. 25-29. It marks the third time in her career that she has earned the honor.

Kirby, a 6-0 junior from Evanston, Wyo. led the Cowgirls to a pair of home victories over UNLV and San Diego State. The Cowgirls won seven consecutive MW matches to close out the season. Kirby averaged 3.14 kills and 2.14 blocks per set over the two matches to go along with two digs and a .463 attack percentage. Against UNLV (W, 3-0), posted 11 kills and five blocks with a .471 attack percentage. In Friday’s 3-1 win over San Diego State, she recorded her fourth double-double of the season with 11 kills and 10 blocks, along with two digs and a .458 attack percentage.

The 10 blocks tied her career-high in a Conference match. The Cowgirls wrapped up their season with a 21-13 overall record and an 11-9 mark in the Mountain West.
