The Kenya Safari Acrobats will perform a show titled, “Googala,” Friday, Feb. 27, at 9 p.m. in the University of Wyoming College of Arts and Sciences auditorium. The event is free and open to the public.

Natives of Kenya, the acrobats perform a variety of gravity-defying stunts such as high-flying jump rope, human pyramids, tumbling and contortion. “Googala” tells the story of a tourist lost and abandoned in an African village. Startling the natives, the tourist tries to avoid death by playing games.

“A combination of death-defying stunts, comedy, audience participation and heart-pounding music creates a show that you don’t want to miss,” says Cassie Herndon, UW Campus Activities Center intern.

UW Friday Night Fever and Visual and Cultural Arts sponsor the performance.
