The Friends of the Albany County Public Library will be holding its Jubilee Days Book Sale July 11-13. 
This is an excellent opportunity to purchase great books at great prices. In addition to books for all ages, the sale includes DVDs, VHS tapes, CDs, large print books, audiobooks and video games.
 
The sale is held in the basement of the Albany County Public Library located at 310 S. Eighth Street.  The hours of the sale are:
 
                        Friday, July 11:            1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
                        Saturday, July 12:        11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
                        Sunday, July 13:            1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
 
Special hours for current Friends of the Library Members will be on Thursday, July 10 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.  Memberships may be purchased at the library’s circulation desk or at the sale. Memberships are $10 per person or $15 per household.

The Friends of the Albany County Public Library is a non-profit organization that provides direct financial assistance to the library. Proceeds raised from the sales are donated to the county library to assist in funding purchases not covered by the operating budget. 
The Friends of the Library appreciate the many generous donations from the community that contribute to the sale stock. The Friends also sell items removed from county and school libraries.
The Albany County Public Library is open Tuesday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Friday through Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
