Hardware Issues Causes Weather App To Cause Panic

MyRadar

Don’t worry. Yellowstone is not about to blow its top. The world is not coming to an end. It is just a technical issue with the radar in Riverton. The app My Radar from Aviation Data Systems was showing some intense activity between Riverton, Thermopolis, and the Grand Teton National Forest. Although in reality the weather was calm and dry. The data is in fact bogus.

Some people were thinking it was a sign of the apocalypse, but it was not. It is just technical issues, but the pictures do look like something is going down in the Wind River Indian Reservation. The National Weather Service in Riverton says the technical issues will continue through Monday. Ah, technology… you have to love it.
