Question:

Why doesn't the city allow for grocery stores in West Laramie?

Answer:

"Multiple locations in West Laramie are zoned to allow for a grocery store. Development of a grocery store in West Laramie would be allowed by the city as long as the development complied with the standards of the Laramie Municipal Code. General business development siting, including a grocery store, is mostly dictated by the private sector. In the past 12 years, the city has not received any applications for a grocery store in West Laramie."
