A 28-year-old Green River man has been arrested on 16 counts of felony voyeurism for allegedly video recording women in restrooms and changing rooms in several different areas of Sweetwater County.

Sweetwater County Sheriff's Office spokesman Dick  Blust says Ryan M. Flaten had ''GoPro" video cameras set up in a public restroom at the Maverik Country Store in Lyman, as well as a changing room at the Goodwill Store on Dewar Drive in Rock Springs,  and a restroom at Solvay Chemicals west of Green River.

Flaten also allegedly had video recordings of women taken inside several Green River homes.

Under Wyoming law, felony voyeurism is punishable by up to two years in prison, a $5,000 fine or both.

Flaten was originally arrested at his then-home in Lyman in November in connection with the camera at the Maverik store. But after Lyman Police served a search warrant and found video recordings from several other locations, the Sweetwater County Sheriff's Office launched an investigation into recordings made outside of Lyman.

Flaten re-arrested on Friday at his home in Green River. Blust says Flaten had moved to Green River since his earlier arrest in Lyman.

At last report, he was being held on $25,000 cash or surety bond in the Sweetwater County jail awaiting a Jan. 31 preliminary hearing in Circuit Court in Green River.

The investigation into the case is continuing, and anyone with information is being asked to call Sgt. Rich Fisher with the Sweetwater County Sheriff's Office at (307) 875-1400.
