Grand Construction Worth It? – Question Of The Week

So if you haven't heard, construction on Grand Avenue will provide a major shake-up in Laramie this spring/summer.

WYDOT will begin construction will begin March 3 and continue through August.  Grand from 15th to 21st will be completely shutdown.

The project will remove and rebuild the sidewalks, gutters, and resurface the street as well as patch up some existing potholes. A detour through Sheridan Street will be in place during the six months of work.

My question to you this week, is the project worth it?  Do the long-term changes outweigh the six months of aggravation?  Or was Grand Avenue just fine?  What do you want accomplished from this project?
