An opportunity to experience different world customs will be offered during International Night Friday, Nov. 21, at 9 p.m. in the lower level of the University of Wyoming Union. The event is free and open to the public.

Various performances, booths, crafts and games highlighting the differences and similarities in cultures will be offered for participants to gain a better understanding of traditions from other parts of the world.

Free pizza and ice cream will be served, and Pete’s Game Room will be open during the event.

Also that night, Friday Night Fever will show the film, “When the Game Stands Tall,” in the Wyoming Union Family Room at 6:30, 9, and 11:30 p.m. The movie is based on true events of legendary football coach Bob Ladouceur. The film tracks Ladouceur as he leads the De La Salle High School Spartans football team to a 151-game winning streak from 1992-2003, breaking all previous records.

Friday Night Fever also is seeking more UW student volunteers. If interested, email FNF@uwyo.edu or stop by the meetings each Thursday at 5:30 p.m. in the Campus Activities Center in Room 12 of the Wyoming Union.
