RAWLINS, Wyo. (AP) — A former Rawlins Middle School teacher has been convicted of sexually assaulting two girls.

34-year-old Jonathon Moser was found guilty Thursday of sexual abuse of a minor in Carbon County. He faces additional sex abuse charges in Converse County related to alleged incidents that occurred while he taught at Glenrock High School.

Moser had been a special education teacher and girls volleyball coach at the Rawlins school from 2014 to 2015. He's accused of sexually assaulting two former students of the middle school.

Moser's attorney had questioned the victims' credibility during the trial, which began Tuesday. He said the two girls had several opportunities to report Moser to school officials and authorities over the course of a year but didn't.
