A Downtown Scavenger Hunt Fundraiser is the perfect way to enjoy a Saturday afternoon in Laramie.

The race is themed Women in History and we will be leaving clues on this page throughout the month of March. So, keep an eye out

Join us at the Train Depot to learn about the race day rules, clues, door prizes, cash prizes and fun at 2 PM on March 25th.

The event proceeds will be donated to entities that promote the status of women such as CLIMB Wyoming, S.A.F.E., Laramie Reproductive Health, as well as, student scholarships.

A Few more details on the race day rules:
• You will have from 2pm-5pm to complete your scavenger hunt. Any teams/individuals returning after 5pm will not be eligible for the grand prizes, but will still be eligible for the remaining door prizes.
• Teams will be eligible for prizes in 2 ways:
o All tokens collected in the hunt will be placed into prize buckets of your choice which will have drawings throughout the afternoon for the door prizes. Your team gets to decide which prizes you would like to go for, and you will place your tokens into those prize buckets for the chance to be drawn for those prizes.
o Grand prizes will be awarded to the team that gets the most points overall in the scavenger hunt. You get points in two ways:
 Your team will receive one point per token collected from the businesses by solving the clues in your registration packet. Each time you solve a clue, you go to the business in the clue and receive a token from the business (maximum of one token per business).
 Your team will receive one point per task completed on the task list. This list will be distributed to you as you leave the Train Depot. The tasks will be simple things you must do at certain businesses, and you must take a selfie of yourself doing these tasks in order for them to count.
 In the event that 2 or more teams complete the hunt with the same number of points, your finishing time will be included as a tie-breaker. This is why it is essential you return by 5:00pm! Any teams taking more than the allotted time will be disqualified from the grand prizes.

At the finish:
o As soon as you have completed as much of the scavenger hunt as you can/want, your team must return to the train depot.
o Once you have returned, give your score sheet to the timer to receive your official finishing time.
o Next take your score sheet, your tokens, and your camera/phone to the scorers table.
o Your tokens will be counted and the total will be placed on your score card (you may only have one token per business). The tokens will then be given back to you to be placed in the door prize buckets.
o Your selfies of the scavenger hunt tasks will then be recorded by the scorer, and your team will receive one point for each task selfie you show the scorers.
o Your total points will be added, and your team score will be submitted along with your finishing time.

Prize drawings:
o Beginning at 4pm, drawings will be held every 15 minutes for the door prizes.
o Teams finishing early can put their tokens in for prizes as soon as they return to the depot, but they should get their scorecards completed by the scoring table before putting their tokens in the drawing buckets.
o Winners of the door prizes must be present to win.
o The grand prizes will be awarded to the top teams at 5:30pm. Again, winners must be present to win.
