Well butter me up and call me a biscuit! Woohoo, we got a cowboy roundup coming to town! 7220 Entertainment Late Night Events presents Pistol Pete’s Cowboy Roundup on Friday, April 6 staring at 9:00 p.m. in the Wyoming Union. The overview for this event includes: free food, a mechanical bull, a Pop Up Paint Party, and swing dancing lessons followed by a live country performance. This event is free and open to the public.
The Pop Up Paint Party will consist of two painting sessions and an instructor will lead you through how to create your masterpiece. The first session goes from 9:00 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. The second session goes from 11:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. Limited spaces available, pick up a free ticket to reserve your spot with a valid student ID beginning March 26 at the Union Information Desk. The Pop Up Paint Party will take place in the Union Senate Chambers.
Show off your inner cowboy and take a spin on the mechanical bull. To participate in this event you must sign a waiver saying that you are 18 and over. If you are younger than 18, then a parent or garden will need to sign for you. This activity will take place in the Union Family Room.
Swing dancing lessons will be provided by Cowboy Country Swing Club. Lessons will take place from 9:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. in the Wyoming Union Ballroom. Following dance lessons an amazing live country band will take the stage.
7220 Entertainment’s Late Night Events Committee is responsible for Pistol Pete’s Cowboy Roundup. This committee meets at 4:30 p.m. on Thursdays in the Campus Activities Center located in Room 012 in the Wyoming Union.
