The University of Wyoming Art Museum will host “Panel Discussion: This is Indian Country” in conjunction with UW’s Martin Luther King Jr. Days of Dialogue (MLK DOD) events on Tuesday, January 30, with an exhibition preview at 6:30 p.m., and a panel discussion starting at 7:00 p.m.

The panel will discuss “Indian Country: The Art of David Bradley,” an exhibition on view through Saturday, July 14. Angela Jaime, director of the UW American Indian Studies Program; Caskey Russell, professor from the UW American Indian Studies Program; and Nicole Crawford, curator of collections at the UW Art Museum will share their reflections on the artist and exhibition.

The panel will be a starting point for student and audience dialogues about the broad aspects of Native Culture and influences, as well as negotiating terminology and identity.

The event is free and open to campus and community. Light refreshments will be served after the discussion.
