Open House for Perspective Members of Civil Air Patrol

Laramie Valley Composite Flight unit of the Civil Air Patrol invites all members of the community to their Open House, Tuesday, September 19th at 6:30-8:30 pm at the National Guard Armory on 30th Street. According to 2 Lt. Karen Bienz, Flight Commander, members will be on hand to explain the details of Civil Air Patrols programs including their Cadet Program for youths 12-18 and volunteer opportunities in Search and Rescue and Emergency Services. Civil Air Patrol, the official auxiliary of the U.S. Air Force, is a nonprofit organization with 57,000 members nationwide. CAP performs 90 percent of continental U.S. inland search and rescue missions as tasked by the Air Force Rescue Coordination Center.
