Additional Information

LARAMIE – Finals are approaching and stress is rising. 7220 Entertainment will be hosting their semiannual Destressor Event, at 9 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 8. in the Wyoming Union. There will be a variety of activities for this event: Comedian Michael Palascak, create a critter, a photo booth, massages, karaoke and food.

To participate in creating a stuffed animal, you will need to pick up a ticket ahead of time. Tickets will be available starting Monday, Nov. 27 at the Union Information Desk. Any remaining tickets will be available during the event at the Cowboy Check-in table. There will be different time slots for each session. This activity is for students only.

Comedian Michael Palascak began his career by making appearances on both The Late Show with David Letterman and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. “While Michael’s comedy is mainstream, his delivery and joke writing have an edge which has proven very beneficial for his career.” (Palascak’s Website) Michael’s daring choice of topics was the deciding factor in advancing him to the finals of last year’s Last Comic Standing. Michael was able to finish in the Top 5, with the opportunity to tour throughout the country.

The other events for the night will be karaoke and massages. This activity will run throughout the event. Tickets will not be needed to participate in these activities.

7220 Entertainment is currently looking for committee members to join one or more of its five committees responsible for planning events for the student body.
