The popular country duo Dan + Shay are set to perform in the Arts and Sciences auditorium on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 8:00 pm. Doors open at 7 pm. This is a ticketed event and open to the public.

Dan + Shay are a well-known country duo composed of Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney who met in Nashville, Tennessee and immediately hit it off writing songs together in 2012. They released their first single “19 You + Me,” in 2013, which received great feedback and put them in the spotlight. Since their debut, they have earned three consecutive nominations for both ACM Vocal Duo of the Year and CMA’s Vocal Duo of the Year award as well as nods for American Country Count-down Awards, CMT Awards, and Radio Disney Music Awards. The duo’s current popular songs are from their newest album Obsessed, “From the Ground Up,” and “How Not To.” Their new single “Road Trippin,” is currently climbing the country charts. Dan + Shay have opened for Hunter Hayes, Blake Shelton, and many other popular country performers.

UW student tickets will be available Monday, September 18th for $20 with a valid UW student ID. Students can purchase tickets at the Wyoming Union information desk, Fine Arts box office or online at www.uwyo.edu/finearts. Faculty and staff tickets will go on sale Monday, October 2nd for $30. Also on Monday, October 2nd, surrounding schools such as Laramie Community College and Colorado State University will receive the code DAN+SHAYUWYO17 and be able to purchase tickets for $30. Public tickets will be available Monday, October 9th for $40. Tickets can be purchased at the Wyoming Union information desk, Fine Arts Box Office or online at www.uwyo.edu/finearts.
