LARAMIE - Jumping into a new semester after a long break can be rough, the students of 7220 Entertainment recommend people take some time to laugh and relax, after all laughter is the best medicine. 7220 Entertainment Club Events will be hosting a Comedy Night at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 31 in The Gardens. This event will feature comedians Jon Rudnitsky and Dino Archie. This event is free and open to the public.

Jon Rudnitsky was born and raised in the suburbs of Jersey, he performs stand-up at comedy clubs, colleges, festivals, and laundromats around the country. In addition to his stand-up work, Rudnitsky has created and starred in a number of parody videos with themes including House of Cards, Straight Outta Compton, and Dirty Dancing. Rudnitsky wrapped the 41st season of NBC's Saturday Night Live, voices the role of Ned Lud in Disney's new animated series Big Hero 6, and performed in Comedy Central's musical number The Jam, which premiered in spring 2017. Most recently, Rudnitsky can be seen starring opposite Reese Witherspoon in the new movie Home Again, which just premiered this past September 2017 to rave reviews.

Dino Archie was chosen as “New Face” at the 2016 Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal. He also won first place in the 2015 Seattle International Comedy Competition. He had his TV stand up debut in 2016 on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! and was featured on Adam Devine’s House Party on Comedy Central that same year. He co-starred in The Pajama Men Project, Brothers in Law featuring Gemma Whelan from Game of Thrones and Ronny Chieng from The Daily Show.
