Downtown Laramie kicked off the holiday season on December 2nd with its annual tree lighting and Christmas parade.

Festivities started at 6 p.m. with the lighting of the tree and a performance from a children's choir in the First Street Plaza next to Coal Creek Tap.

Several Grinches made their appearance in the parade as part of the "Whoville Christmas" theme. This year's parade had 30 entries, which included: floats, cars, horses, and a bicycle group.
