Dog Bite Reported in Laramie

The Laramie Police Department is looking for information about a dog that bit a man in Washington Park last week.

On Jan. 31, a leashed dog being walked by a 60 to 70-year-old woman bit the man while he was walking in Washington Park. The bite was to the back of the man’s knee and caused him to fall.

The woman pulled the dog away from the victim and continued walking, according to a Laramie Police Department news release.

The dog was described as a small but sturdy white poodle mix.

Laramie Police Lieutenant Gwen Smith said the Laramie Police hopes the owner of the dog will contact Laramie Animal Control Unit.
