Do You Obey the New Laramie Leash Law? – Survey of the Day
As spring weather finally settles into the Laramie area, many dogs are enjoying the warmer temperatures alongside their owners. This spring seems to offer the first big test of the overhaul of the Animal Ordinance Code from last fall because in those changes was the addition of a city wide leash law.
Up until January, dog owners only had to maintain “voice control” but now dogs are required to be on a leash whenever they’re not on your property. The only off leash park currently offered is at Optimist Park in West Laramie, although the city is working to implement more dog friendly areas.
So as you take your canine companion with you around town, are you now keeping your dog on a leash as required? Let us know if you are obeying the new Laramie leash law in the survey below.
We want to reward you just for answering this poll! Enter your answer to this poll in the Laramie Rewards Program for your chance to win some great prizes like gift certificates, DVDs, and this month a whole slew of prizes to to get you ready for summer!
