Wyoming senior guard Marquelle Dent was selected the Mountain West Women's Basketball Player of the Week Monday.

Dent led Wyoming to a 2-0 record last week with a road win at Denver, 75-64, and a home victory over Montana, 68-61.

She averaged 20.5 points, 7 assists and 4 rebounds per game. Dent shot 43 percent from the field, and that included 50 percent beyond the arc. She played 40 minutes in both games and had a 3.5 assist-to-turnover ratio.

It's the second time in her career she's received the honor and first this season.
