An event to help University of Wyoming students relieve stress before final exams next week is scheduled Friday, Dec. 12, in the lower level of the Wyoming Union.

The free de-stresser event begins at 9 p.m. and is hosted by Friday Night Fever.

The goal is to provide students with a number of fun activities, including crafts, games, as well as free snacks to help them unwind, says Haley Biswell, a Campus Activities Center marketing intern.

“Among activities are a build-your-own stuffed animal station, a photo booth, massages, a mechanical bull, popcorn, cotton candy and much more,” Biswell says.

Friday Night Fever also will show the movie “The Judge” the same night. All showings are in the Shoshone Room in the basement of Washakie Dining Hall at 6:30, 9 and 11:30 p.m. “The Judge” stars Robert Duvall and Robert Downey Jr. as a father and son whose issues are rooted in deep secrecy and stubbornness. As an attorney, Downey Jr. has to defend his father in court, who also is a famous judge.
