Brett Glass and Isobel Nichols are once again hosting a house concert in the downtown Laramie loft they've dubbed the Room of Requirement.

This one will be on the Saturday of Jubilee Days -- July 11th -- at 7 PM, after the close of the Brewfest. It will not feature a full potluck, but contributions of beverages and/or desserts are always welcome.

Unlike the Jubilee Days "street dance" (which will be taking place below at about the same time), it will be a "sit down" concert with good acoustics, comfortable volume levels, and (hopefully) a gorgeous sunset visible over the rooftops of downtown.

Dana Cooper's music has been described as "what James Taylor would sound like if he'd grown up in Wyoming." An excellent guitarist, singer, and songwriter, he writes and performs songs with thought-provoking, intelligent lyrics and inventive melodies.

This performance will be suitable for all ages, so feel free to bring the kids! RSVP to houseconcerts@brettglass.com or by calling 307-761-2895 so that we can make sure to have enough chairs and can give you directions to the venue.

The loft is a few flights above street level, so if you or someone you would like to bring is mobility-impaired, indicate this when you RSVP and we will have a manually operated elevator available.

As is traditional with house concerts, there is no admission charge but a donation of $10 per adult is suggested. Hope to see you there!
