Kayla Woodward scored a season-high 26 points to lead the Wyoming Cowgirls to a dominant 77-54 victory over Nevada Wednesday night.

Wyoming (13-11, 8-6) jumped out to a 10-0 lead and never trailed in route to their fourth straight victory. It was also the sixth in their last seven games.

Woodward was one of four Cowgirls in double figures. She went 9-of-14 from the field, which included a perfect night from beyond the arc. She finished 6-6 from 3-point range and knocked down both her free throws.

Marquelle Dent poured in 17 points and dished out nine assists. Jordan Kelley finished with 13 points and nine rebounds, while Kaitlyn Mileto added 12 points.

The Cowgirls shot 53 percent from the field and 69 percent from deep. They also had an advantage on the glass against the taller Wolfpack, 36-35.

Nevada (7-17, 3-10) was led by Nyasha LeSure with 11 points. The closest the Wolfpack got was within seven points at the 14:18 mark of the first half. Nevada shot only 36 percent from the floor.

Woodward drained four 3's in the first seven minutes of the game. She added a pair late in the half, which included a 25-footer, for a 34-19 Cowgirl lead. UW was ahead 38-24 at the break. They extended their edge to 51-30 just five minutes into the second half.

The Cowgirls are now off until next Wednesday, February 25, when they play at Fresno State. Game time is at 8 p.m., Mountain Time.
