Country Singer In Laramie

Powerhouse country singer Ashley Buchart and her band will perform for the University of Wyoming Summer Programs concert series Wednesday, June 18, from 11:45 a.m.–1 p.m. on Simpson Plaza.

Raised in Colorado, Buchart stuns audiences with her powerful voice. She recently recorded in Nashville, Tenn., and in August will release a new single in the United States.

She was trained classically in opera (Italian, French and Spanish), jazz, and musical theater at the Denver School of the Arts. Although her passion for country music raised more than a few eyebrows from her vocal coaches, she knew what direction she planned to take her training and love of performing.
