Colorado Girl Killed in Crash Near Cheyenne
A Littleton, Colorado girl is dead following a collision west of Cheyenne Thanksgiving night.
The Wyoming Highway Patrol says 15-year-old Kendra Grigg had exited Interstate 80 and was driving down the off ramp to get onto West Lincolnway when she failed to stop for a westbound pickup and was T-boned.
Nine-year-old Makayla Grigg died on scene. Five-year-old Kaytlyn Grigg was flown to Denver Children's Hospital and was hospitalized.
Kendra Grigg and 45-year-old Phillip Grigg were taken to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center and were treated and released.
The driver of the pickup, 35-year-old Brandon Houseman of Cheyenne, was not injured.
Driver inattention is being investigated as the contributing factor in the crash.
