Cheyenne Woman Facing 76 Years in Meth Case

A 26-year-old Cheyenne woman accused of selling methamphetamine to a confidential informant last month has waived her preliminary hearing.

Brittany Sundell appeared before Laramie County Circuit Court Judge Denise Nau this (Friday) afternoon.

Sundell is charged with two counts of felony delivery of methamphetamine, one count of felony possession of methamphetamine and one count of possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine.

According to court documents, a confidential informant with the Cheyenne Police Department purchased a total of 4.5 grams of meth from Sundell at her home on two separate occasions between February 10 and February 21.

Police executed a search warrant at Sundell's residence on March 2 and seized nearly a quarter pound of meth, packaging materials, a digital scale and $1521 in cash.

When interviewed by detectives, Sundell reportedly admitted to being a meth distributor.

Sundell is being held in the Laramie County Jail on $10,000 cash bond. She could face up to 67 years in prison and/or $90,000 in fines if convicted on all four counts.
