When Zac Brown Band takes the stage tonight, Cheyenne Frontier Days will officially be underway. Every year, it seems that CFD wins awards for having such a stellar outdoor rodeo, but the concert lineup seems to get stronger and stronger each year as well. With CFD picking up, I want to get ready, by taking a look at all the big concerts, and telling you which ones are going to be the best.

What should you do if you are enjoying the summer heat well past, or even before, regular business hours and you want to grab a bite to eat? You’re in luck. Laramie has a few great 24-hour restaurants to enjoy all year long. This is a list of the restaurants you can enjoy in Laramie at any time of the day.

As country music singer Kip Moore says in his very first career No. 1 hit, there’s just “somethin’ ’bout a truck.” In Laramie there are some pretty nice trucks for sale and we decided to go take a look at the most expensive trucks available at Laramie car dealerships. Good luck not drooling truck lovers.

Some people wish that more big box stores would come to Laramie so there would be more variety in shopping in Laramie. However, if you take the time to stroll through downtown, you will find a many more unique--and sometimes a little weird--products than you would ever find in a Target or Macy's.

With the unexpectedly warm temperatures this week and this season's lack of snow, Wyoming weather has become the topic of many recent discussions. However, when you compare this season's wacky weather to standing Wyoming weather records, the past few 50 degree days no longer seem strange.

If you're like me, then there's a good chance you are a guy. As a guy, you've probably come to the conclusion (as I have), that clothing can be beneficial in certain social situations. Thankfully, there are places of business right here in Laramie that, in exchange for money, will provide guys like us with clothing that can be worn, thus ending all uncomfortable situations that occur without the use of clothes.

Is the weekend rapidly approaching and you’re wondering what to do? While Laramie may seem like a little town, it has plenty going on. Between the vibrant community life, campus, and the great outdoors, Laramie arguably offers a greater variety of activities than urban communities (since you can’t drive 35 minutes outside New York and summit a peak). So with some planning and a bit of creativity, you will never wonder what there is to do.

While spectacular, summer in Laramie is dreadfully short. Therefore, we must make the most of it. The Laramie area offers great options to enjoy the summer weather, even if you are not the type to climb a route at Vedauwoo or backpack through the Laramie Range.
