A portion of the large dog friendly off-leash fenced area at Optimist Park will be closed from August 3rd to August 21st for re-seeding as well as additional fencing to be installed around the large trees
The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is seeking information from the public on a pronghorn doe that was poached eight miles west of Cheyenne on state land near the Otto Road Shooting Range. The pronghorn was shot twice with a rifle between the hours of 7 a.m. July 11 to July 12.
With kids out of school on summer vacation and weather seemingly getting nicer and nicer, the urge to spend time outside gets stronger everyday. Whether it's spending some time swimming or maybe making a quick escape outside of town, the outside provides a great temptation for many people sitting at work.
