Ask The City – What is Being Done to Protect the Casper Aquifer?
Your Question: With all of the sensitivity and concern over maintaining the health of the Casper Aquifer and considering the inconclusive environmental studies and safety of bio-solids what is the city of laramie doing to ensure that dumping bio-solids over the aquifer on the Monolith Ranch is not putting the aquifer at risk from heavy metals, nitrates and other chemicals known to be in bio-solids?

Ask The City – How About Moving The Clark Street Bridge South?
Your Question: Have any routes further south been considered for the Clark Street Bridge replacement? Possibly south of Grand Avenue. The blue route would not seem to make sense as it would be only a couple of blocks from Curtis Street which already crosses the river and provides several access options to West Laramie.

Can Indian Paintbrush School’s Parking be Expanded?
Your Question: Why is there so little parking area available in front of Indian Paintbrush School for parents who are picking up or dropping off children? There is only one small area on the north side of Knadler St. that is marked as a pick-up/drop-off zone, and it's not even enough room for all the daycare vans that need to pick up children after school.

Ask The City – Why Are Speed Limits Around UW So Slow?
Your Question: Why were the speed limits on the streets around the University of Wyoming changed 20 MPH on a persistent basis? This isn't even done around our elementary schools except for during certain hours. Is there any chance the city would consider changing the speed limit back to 30 MPH at least on 15th street? There are stoplights with crossings all through this area and it seems uncalled for on such a major artery through town.

Ask The City – Are There Plans To Connect 45th Street to Grand Avenue?
Your Question: Why is there not a road that connects 45th to Grand Ave? It could come out between Snowy Range Academy and the Hampton Inn. There is already a stop light there! Think about how much traffic would be diverted between Grays Gable and 30th street. Plus, easier access to the Rec Center, LCCC, and of course shopping.
