Capitol Square Project Providing Much-Needed Jobs
About 250 construction workers are currently involved with the project, a number that's expected to grow.
"It will extend to a much larger number as we start working through it," said Paul Brown, Program Manager for MOCA Systems. "It's a significant workforce in Cheyenne, no question about it."
"We're keeping the state moving with new jobs throughout this construction project and we're seeing those jobs being filled by Wyoming people," said Ross, who co-chairs the Capitol Building Rehabilitation and Restoration Oversight Group.
Construction on the $219 million project is expected to be completed by the first quarter of 2019.
