Popular and prolific Wyoming author C.J. Box will be in Casper on April 4th as part of a tour promoting his latest Joe Pickett novel, Vicious Circle. Here's  the publisher's description:

According to  G. P. Putnam's Sons-Penguin Books, C.J. Box is the #1 New York Times bestselling author of seventeen Joe Pickett Novels, five standalones, and a story collection. He's won numerous awards including the Edgar, Anthony, Macavity, Gumshoe, and Barry awards. He's also been awarded the 2016 Western Heritage Award for Literature by the National Cowboy Museum, and others. His books have been translated into 27 languages.

Box is a Wyoming native and has worked as a ranch hand, fishing guide, surveyor, and a small town newspaper reporter and editor. He also owned an international tourism marketing form with his wife Laurie. The couple have three daughters, and split their time between their home and ranch in Wyoming.

Box is set for a talk and book-signing at the Natrona County Public Library, hosted by Wind City Books. It will be held in the Library's Crawford room starting at 6:00 p.m., and seating  is first come, first served. Books will be for sale and Box will be available for autographs after the talk. Box also has upcoming events in Sheridan (April 6th), Rawlins (April 7th) and Cheyenne (April 8th).
