However, it may be useful to know a cowboy or two to get a hold of some old horseshoes. So call up your old cowboy friends, grab a pair of horseshoes, and challenge them to a match. And remember the ability to shoe a horse doesn’t translate into the ability to ring a pair of shoes around a stake.
Washington Park
Washington Park has the only horseshoe pit in Laramie. By default, it is the best place to play horseshoes in Laramie. The horseshoe pits are located on the northern side of the park next to the wading pool and playground equipment. Thankfully, the pits are in the shade, so you don’t need to remember sunscreen.
