Laramie residents and those interested in astronomy are invited to an event this week.

Author Andrew Planck will give an audio-video presentation about his new book "What's Hot on the Moon" on Thursday, August 13 at 7:30 p.m. This book is about telescopic moon observation targets for each day of the month.

He will be signing copies of his book after the presentation.

The event is open to the public and will be held at the Laramie Fire Substation meeting room, 1558 North 23rd Street.

Andrew Planck is a member of the Longmont Astronomical Society. Planck is being hosted by the Laramie Astronomical Society and Space Observers.
