Ask The City – Why isn’t there a Stop Sign at 2nd & Fremont?

Why are there no stop signs at the intersection of Fremont and 2nd? It seems a bit unsafe to me...
The City's Response:
Previous reviews have not shown enough traffic at this intersection to warrant a stop sign. 2nd Street going north is essentially blocked by the viaduct and Fremont Street west runs into the rail road property within ½ block. From the UPS parking lot to the south, visibility is pretty good. The City will keep this intersection in mind when future traffic reviews are completed.
