The Question:

Is WalMart located outside of city limits? If yes, does that mean that they don't pay any taxes for the city of Laramie only Albany County? Is there any options for rezoning to include them within the city?

”Walmart is located within the city limits of Laramie. Property taxes levied are paid to both Albany County and the City of Laramie as noted on tax statements computed by Albany County. Also, it is important to remember that sales taxes for purchases at Walmart include the 4 cent state tax, the 1 cent general purpose local option and the 1 cent specific purpose capital facilities option.
